Who Am I?
Hi! My name is Michael and I’ve been selling books online since 2010. Over the last four years, I’ve sold over 10,000 books (6800 of which I sold in 2013 alone). Most of these books sold in less than 24 hours after I purchased them and have made me thousands of dollars in extra income.
Selling books began as a pastime for me – albeit a fun and profitable one. I love reading, and when I found I could make extra money by spending my weekends buying books at thrift stores and then re-selling them online, it felt almost too good to be true.
Over time, however, I discovered many things about online bookselling that made me re-consider the best ways a part-timer could sell books online:
- I learned the hard-to-find rare books most people associate with selling books online aren’t always the books that earn you the most money every month.
- I learned Amazon.com and eBay aren’t the only places to sell books online – nor are they always the most profitable places you can sell books online.
- And most importantly, I learned you can sell books fast – often less than 24 hours after you buy them – if you adopt some new strategies for finding and selling books.
In 2013, I began a personal experiment to see how profitable these strategies could be.
A month after I adopted my new strategies, the $250 in extra money I regularly earned each month by spending a few hours a week at garage sales and thrift stores swelled to over $500.
Two months later, I started earning over $700 a month on a regular basis.
And today, I can earn an average of well over $1000 a month by spending just a couple days a week shopping for books.
Do I consider myself the ultimate expert on selling books online? Absolutely not!
But do I believe I can show you how to make hundreds of dollars in extra money a month – and thousands of dollars a year – by selling books online?
